UPDATE: If you have scored a pair of these Bodega x Adidas ZX Flux just yet, Foot Patrol will be droppings stocks this coming July 25.
Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey was a wildly ambitious piece of '60s cinema that envisioned a wacky future where humans would be watching TV on portable tablets, chatting with relatives through video linkup, and communicating freely with computers. Like that would ever happen ...oh wait. Drawing inspiration from this masterpiece of cult cinema, Boston boutique Bodega has collaborated with adidas Originals to deliver a fresh space-themed ZX Flux. With a largely all black suede and nylon make up, this Flux blasts off with an infusion of reflective 3M to replicate a star-filled night sky and striking pops of yellow and orange that mimic the spacesuits in the film. Launch date is set for July 18 at Bodega, with a number of other Consortium retailers dropping these on July 18th.
