Bodega’s first New Balance 997S collaboration proved to be one of the most popular renditions of the silhouette to date, and it hasn’t taken long for the two brands to reveal a potential follow-up colourway.
Sneakily teased via Bodega’s Spring/Summer lookbook, the new version carries the same vibrant DNA of the first drop, but tweaks the palette slightly. The grey overlays return, albeit in a darker form, while a pale-coloured mesh hits the toe box for contrast. The trademark ‘N’ logo wears a light yellow hue, with bolder mustard hits working hand-in-hand to create an unusually pleasant scheme. Meanwhile, teal, purple and orange accents dress the rear section branding and underlay, taking the flair up another notch.
No word on a release date for these comfort-focussed creps, but you can expect Bodega to roll ‘em out during the warmer months north of the equator. Stay tuned for more info!
