Black Sheep X Nike SB Dunk High (Wolf In Sheep's Clothing)
UPDATE: This menacing colab has emerged from the shadows, with a fresh set of images shedding light on its crafty disguise. Following an early release through Black Sheep, SB fans will have the added option to grab a pair from from January 12. However, the limited edition 'Wolf Pack' remains exclusive to the North Carolina skate shop, so be quick to cop when they hit Black Sheep's January 7.
The crew at North Carolina skate shop have teamed up with to create a High with a hidden bite. Drawing inspiration from the proverb 'A wolf in sheep's clothing', the high-cut skate shoe is dressed in a layer of shaggy off-white suede symbolic of the barnyard ruminant's wool. Paired with a 'Summit White' Swoosh, laces and tongue, this colab appears tame – but don't be deceived by its sheepish exterior. Scratch below the surface and you'll uncover its sinister side. Black and blood red accents on the sole and branding are just a hint of the evil that lies in wait. With wear, the Swoosh rubs away to reveal a snarling set of chompers ready to chow down on unsuspecting prey, while the insole lets loose the snarling beast within.
The colab will release in two forms: a regular edition and a limited 'Wolf Pack' deluxe edition. Available exclusively through Black Sheep, the deluxe edition features a matching dust bag, stickers, keychain, Fully Laced x Black Sheep 'silver fang' lace dubres and matching 'Blood Bag' silver tip lace 3-pack. The packaging itself is a sight to behold, with a menacing wolf-themed inner box and 'sheep clothing' outer layer. In a first for sneaker packaging, the box incorporates augmented reality technology, giving buyers access to special interactive audio and video content when the shoe box is scanned with a mobile device.
