One of this year's major revival stories has been the success adidas has had with revitalising the Stan Smith model for the new generation of fashion-focused sneakerheads. Trend watchers may have noticed the wave building over the last few years, with many attributing Céline's creative director Phoebe Philo as the major co-signer that brought newfound attention to the silhouette back in 2010. The time was right this year when adidas finally rebooted the model back in January, with the Stan Smith becoming the entry-level offering to the minimalist-sneaker trend we're currently immersed in. Following a string of high fashion collaborations as part of adidas Originals' fashion-focused push in 2014, this time we see the brand team up with iconic New York retailer Barneys, France's Colette and London's DSM to release a very simple Stan Smith. With a premium white upper upper sporting nothing except an embossed logo on the tongue representing each store, this shoe is the perfect accompaniment to an understated outfit. Releasing this Wednesday, head to the respective stores to grab the shoes.
