Los Angeles-based skate brand Babylon has collaborated with Converse to produce a refined collection of footwear and apparel. Fusing a retail space with a skate spot and art gallery, Babylon was founded by Lee Spielman and Garrett Stevenson of Trash Talk as a means to inspire local youth.
On the footwear front, Babylon have produced two make-ups of the Chuck Taylor All Star II – one high cut and one low. The high features a black tencel canvas upper with raised Babylon script logo embroidery along the heel in white. An inverted peace sign graphic has been screen-printed on the upper and the textured toe cap decorated with Babylon script as well. The low-cut Ox silhouette features the same collaborative details, but switch the palette, opting for a white upper and black details. The collection also features a selection of apparel, with a fleece pullover and both long and short sleeves tees – all featuring Babylon artwork and Converse branding.
The Converse x Babylon collection is available right now, exclusively in Australia through the Converse online store, Converse Emporium, Capsule, Up There Store and Supply store.
