Asphaltgold x ASICS GEL-DS Trainer 'Jugendstil’
The x GEL-DS Trainer ‘Jugendstil’ has been created as a tribute to the store’s hometown of Darmstadt. The design pays homage to the area’s art nouveau architecture and culture, particularly the Mathildenhöhe artist colony and their iconic creations.
The GEL-DS Trainer features a colour palette that ties in with the shades of brick and tiling found on the architectural muses, while soft suede construction lends it a much more approachable feel. To round out the whole package, each pair comes housed in a specially designed metal tin, with extra laces for some additional flair.
