There's been so many sneakers announced in the first couple months of 2016 already, even we can't keep up! We thought we might've posted this a while back when the sample arrived at the SF office a little while ago, but we've been so ran off our feet it slipped through the cracks.
The GT-Cool Xpress is finally back this year after a long slumber, and the OG 'White/Purple/Lime' colourway from 1992 will be blazing the trail, with a number of mainline colourways and collaboration releases following suit. While the GT-Cool evolved from the Gel-Lyte III split tongue design, the GT-Cool Xpress refined the Gel-Lyte V silhouette and utilised a new sole unit that featured P-Gel up in the forefoot and visible Super Gel in the back. The GT-Cool Xpress was such an important part of the ASICS Gel technology evolutionary process, its great to see it finally get some retro love.
The ASICS GT-Cool Xpress 'White/Lime/Purple' will be available at Overkill and select ASICS accounts from March 4th.
