The ASICS GEL-Lyte III was a revered runner when it hit the circuit in 1991. Its serpent-style split tongue and the GEL-cushioned midsole were revolutionary tech for the time, but we still love the shoe today because its profile and overlays lend it to a virtually unlimited amount of colourway mash-ups.
This GEL-Lyte III here has silvery grey on its immediate exterior, and the black leather underneath has been notably punctured with cross-shaped perforations. Add to that extra detailing the flourishes of ‘Mango’ spread out over the shoe, and you’ve got another fine colour scheme that GEL-Lyte III’s canon.
