Art Imitates Air Max Day
Don’t be bamboozled by clever cardboard creations, they are more than terrible customs, they are art.
In honour of Day, the Montreal-based artist has used cardboard to produce a series of sculptures representing his own sneaker collection. According to the creator, the use of different packaging is a statement against mass consumption. Art is entirely subjective, but it seems a bit ridiculous for any self-professed sneaker collector to denounce mass consumption. Nevertheless, we’re all for recycling.
