It’s not every day you see someone trying to land nearly $4k for a pair of knock-off Jays, but today is such a day. These might have some newer sneaker heads wondering, apart from being ‘GUARANTEED 100% AUTHENTIC’ (fakes), why are curiously Swooshed Air Jordan 1s being flogged for so much?
Well, these Jay bites are famed for being a bootleg so early, many posit that it might be rarer than the 1985 Jordans they copied. The artefact comes from Sang, a legit company in the 80s who rebuilt Michael Jordan’s signature with an arrowhead — the company’s trademark.
Whether they’re actually worth the asking price of this eBay auction, however, is something you’ll have to let your wallet decide.
