Alexander Wang Visits the Future with Stadium Sneakers

It was just over a month ago that  and revealed their toaster-like and ultra-futuristic . Fast forward to this weekend, and Alexander Wang has followed-up the adidas colab with his own futuristic sneaker for his eponymous label, channeling the year 3019 with a touch of subtlety.

The Stadium Sneakers sport an impressive mix of materials, including a mesh upper covered in PVC, suede lace cage, rubber outsole, polyester textile lining, and self-described ‘air bags in midsoles’. Available in two colourways: a sinister all-black that accentuates the gloss on the upper, and a ‘white’ featuring a palette of whites, beiges and creams that highlights the panelling under the PVC.

The Alexander Wang Stadium Sneaker is currently available at select retailers for $515.
