The Air Jordan 6 from 2006's 'Defining Moments' pack has long been one of the most coveted of all AJ6 releases. Its black and gold colourway struck the perfect balance of classic and modern, showy and low-key, and is one we never thought would be rereleased – yet here we are. Jordan Brand recently served up a highly ornate re-do to celebrate the Chinese New Year and now they look to have repurposed it again, this time on an upcoming update of the Air Jordan 6 silhouette.
xwhich heavily overhauled the AJ7 upper while keeping its iconic OG tooling below. Familiar elements can be found throughout, though purists are likely to be dismayed, especially as this new model has been treated to the the unmistakable 'DMP' colourway, with just an added speckle of black on the midsole.
The name of this new model is unknown at this stage, but it is anticipated to hit stores soon. We'll keep you updated.
