Russian sneaker craftsman Maggi hasn't relaxed his custom grind, and returns here with a new take on the Air Jordan 3. You could be forgiven for not even recognising this as an Air Jordan 3 if you saw it in the street, it's so different from any design we've seen before – custom or legit J colourway. The major element that throws you off is probably the distinct lack of elephant print panelling, Maggi has resisted the obvious here, and opted for premium suede and lamb skin all over and a stunning 'black pearl' textile design on the tongue and heel. He's even streamlined the shape of the shoe too, cutting down the midsole for a lower profile. This adventurous experiment was gifted to Maggi's lucky girlfriend. I don't know if I'm really down with the colourway, but that tongue and treatment is dope. Keep 'em coming , Maggi. Pics via Sneakershot.
