Tedxportland Air Jordan 1 (Perfect)

TEDxPortland is an Oregonian offshoot of the much-loved inspirational TED talks series, and it's going down this weekend. There's a stack of speakers, including Macklemore, and perhaps it's the Mac Daddy's presence that is responsible for this new Jordan special double pack. The conference is all about tackling the concept of 'perfect', and that's apparently why the was chosen as the base for this commemorative creation. This from the TedxPortland auction website:
'It has been debated over the years, but no one can come up with a definitive answer. Art is subjective, and sneakers are definitely works of art. That said, the Air Jordan 1 comes as close to “Perfect” as possible. After all, it’s a classic. It’s an original. It’s the original.'
Do you agree? Is the 1 as close to perfect as we've come. These TED releases, black for men and white for women, definitely do their best to chase perfection – they've got premium leather uppers, are individually numbered, and have special insoles, aglets and outsoles that rep the conference's mission. Macklemore and ex-Jordan Brand design boss D'Wayne Edwards will be in the building when 23 pairs of these will be given away on Saturday. There are 230 pairs all up, with some going up for charity auction – there's a one of each model available to bid on right here now.
