Jordan Brand Reveals 'A Star Is Born' Air Jordan 1

The upcoming isn't the only brand new that have on tap for the holiday season. Coming soon from the Jumpman is a special of MJ's original Swoosh signature.

The kicks — which come in the form of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG — are inspired by an old Sports Illustrated cover from Jordan's rookie year in which he's seen driving to the hoop against the Bucks. The kicks take cues from the Bucks jerseys and employ striped Swooshes along with red accents and a black and white leather upper. Inside, the insoles pay homage to the Sports Illustrated text on the cover and come in sky blue.

An exact release date for the kicks remains unknown, but the Jumpman promises they'll hit Jordan spots before year's end.
