The reboot of the adidas UltraBOOST Collective took shape last week after A Kind of Guise dropped their first sneaker as part of the colab. The silhouette, inspired by the Mediterranean coastline, proved popular, crashing AKOG’s website and selling out within 15 minutes.
AKOG’s now back with a surprise second colourway, a navy build featuring the same Primeknit uppers, leather detailing, wraparound lacing system, and terrazzo-inspired sole as its young predecessor.
The UltraBOOST Collective, originally introduced back in 2015, was designed to celebrate the now-ubiquitous Primeknit marvel. The second wave of brands selected for 2018’s collab includes Études, Engineered Garments, Kinfolk, and the aforementioned A Kind of Guise.
Retailing for $225, the adidas x AKOG UltraBOOST dropped via their official website.
