adidas unveils the '5th Anniversary' UltraBOOST

Team Trefoil are planning the party of the year to celebrate the 5th Anniversary of the brand’s game-changing BOOST sole. Having already revealed a silhouette, adidas have now unveiled a special edition UltraBOOST that harks back to the debut of the energy-return technology.

Taking inspiration from — the Energy BOOST — the upcoming 5th Anniversary UltraBOOST borrows the familiar black/white colourway with yellow accents from that release.

Tweaked slightly, the UltraBOOST features a black/grey 3M Primeknit upper, grey stripes, and yellow detailing on the tongue logo, torsion bar, lace aglets, and the insoles.

The 5th Anniversary is set to hit shelves on February 1, alongside a swag of complementary celebratory releases. It’s gonna be a happy BOOSTday.
