UPDATE: More than a year after they first leaked, the 'Triple White' UltraBOOST Uncaged is making a return. This iteration of the sneaker isn't as heavy on branding and heat-bonded overlays as the original Uncaged, and it's being reported as a 2.0 pattern. If you missed out months ago, your time is now – head over to Titolo and make them yours.
If there’s any adidas Boost colourway that’s sure to sell out, it’s the ‘Triple White’. Interest in the crisp colour scheme famously piqued when Kanye wore the Triple White version to the Billboard Music Awards. And now, months later, blanked out Boosts still refuse to stay on shelves.
No wonder then, that the colourway is being used to usher in adidas’ new UltraBOOST Uncaged model. Not merely a release of the Ultra Boost sans TPU cage, the UltraBOOST Uncaged revises the Primeknit upper with new patterning and the addition of Three Stripe branding on the medial toe. A Torsion System then reinforces the sole to account for any support lost through the removal of the cage.
As mentioned – everything on this version of the UltraBOOST Uncaged from the Primeknit, to the Boost midsole, to the Continental outsole is drenched in fly-off-the-shelves-white.
