UPDATE: Good news. The adidas Ultra Boost, one of the most coveted since the line began, will be getting an online release via the adidas Confirmed app in the US. The sneaker will drop on December 1 and those keen to cop are advised to sign up on November 28. In slightly better news for those residing in Western Europe, the Triple Blacks will release on November 19 via select stockists.
UPDATE: We were expecting the 'Triple Black' Ultra Boost to make lot of noise when it dropped mid-October, but true to its stealthy black styling, it crept in without much fanfare and has been quickly snapped up by those that were paying attention. There have been rumours that the releases are being randomly staggered from retailers around the world, so you may get another chance if you're patient and quick on the trigger. Keep your Twitter feed refreshed and keep scrolling the 'gram, and you might just snag a pair if you're lucky enough.
UPDATE: With the amount of time that had lapsed we were starting to doubt the legitimacy of this IG leak, but the 'Triple Black' Ultra Boost is really coming – it just had to wait its turn. After its Uncaged version and the NMD family got their energy-returning capsules dipped in the inkwell, the Ultra Boost too has been lathered in the good stuff. Look for it on adidas online on October 13.
Oh yeahhhhh! This is it, fam, what we've all been waiting for. You can ditch the dye and throw out the paint, because adidas have finally dipped the Ultra Boost in all black everything, from the Primeknit upper right down to the Continental rubber outsole. Previously adi had said that the Boost sole needed to be white because 'the coatings don’t have the memory of the material so they would fatigue too quickly', but by some kind of 'miracle' they must found a solution. Praise be to the Three Stripes!
No release details have been confirmed, but we'll keep you posted soon as they emerge. Images via kaiweikaiwei.
