If you've been keeping up with the NBA Playoffs this year – or subscribing to pop culture in general – you might have noticed Oklahoma City Thunder (OKC) gradually hacking away at the Golden State Warriors' dreams. The Warriors might be led by Steph-Curry-with-the-shot, the man who 'can do all things' – but at the time of writing they're down one game to three and their chances of ousting OKC are looking pretty slim. The Herzo team have definitely noticed and have chosen to back the underdog with this Ultra Boost in OKC's team colours. It may seem odd that they chose to throw the colour on a runner instead of a ball shoe, but adidas has hot hands with the Ultra Boost right now and it looks like they're taking the Black Mamba approach with this one.
For this Ultra Boost, the OKC colours have been applied to a white upper. A smidgen of orange sits on the tongue while a dash of blue pops out from the inner and, notably, on a translucent slash which breaks up the midsole.
The adidas Ultra Boost Oklahoma City Thunder sold out in no time when it hit Oneness Boutique's shelves, but trust we'll keep you informed if they pop up elsewhere.
