adidas Ultra BOOST Atr Wmns (Dark Navy)
The isn’t exactly a stranger to a little extra protection on the toebox, but this is still a sleek execution. The Ultra Boost ST always comes with a heat-bonded layer on the toe and the Porsche Design Boost almost had a full rubber exoskeleton, but the Ultra ADV keeps it minimal with thin taping curving around the toe box. No word on what the taping is for just yet – not even from adidas online. Maybe it’s a hint of weather proofing, maybe it’s for durability, maybe it’s just there to look cool. Either way we’re down with it.
