adidas Tubular Rise
UPDATE: Here we find ourselves having crossed the threshold of July to discover the new adidas Tubular Rise. The newest Tube has already hit the shelves at a few European stockists – , for example – and should be going global shortly. Feast your peepers on latest addition to the long-running Three Stripe line.
The Tubular brood just keeps growing. Joining the Doom, , Entrap, Nova and Defiant – the list goes on – is the adidas Tubular Rise.
While clearly Tubular kin, the Rise sports features that distinguish it from most of its siblings. The model’s signature protruding tyre-inspired sole – bearing a new wave-like pattern – has been filed back to sit in line with rather than spill out from the upper, while maintaining a little junk in the trunk. A patchwork of elastic, suede, mesh and an ankle-hugging knit sock form the upper. The Tubular Rise will hit markets in two colourways: black and white, each atop a new-look off-white sole.
A release date is yet to be set but we expect this one to rise sometime in July.
