There’s been a number of heavy-hitters on adidas Originals’ bench lining up for a re-boot recently. We’ve seen star alumni like the OG and the return from retirement looking as fresh and current as ever. Now it’s time for the new dawn of the 80s, arguably the MVP of adidas silhouettes.
Hailing from an age where denim was washed and the internet was the domain of a bespectacled few, the Superstar 80s returns in an era-authentic snakeskin motif. Using embossed nubuck (rather than dead reptile) to create a scaled finish, the white upper is paired with premium black leather accents to the stripes and heel collar.
