While recent adidas creations like the POD and Deerupt have been forward-thinking and futuristic, the brand has also been casting its eye back. Yung-1s, Falcons and Yung-96s all take a heavy dose of inspiration from 90s running silhouettes, and the recent Temper Run follows this same lead.
The Temper Run is actually a rerelease, having first hit shelves in 1997 and again in 2014. And considering the Three Stripes’ run of 90s remixes, its 2018 reboot makes perfect sense. It utilises the same multi-layered panelling of its 90s brethren, putting it to good use with some serious colourblocking. Available in a pink and teal or black and yellow combos, adidas have stayed true to the model’s heritage.
If you’re on board with the 90s revival, these are available now from Oneness.
