adidas Resurrect the Indoor Star for SPEZIAL FW18

Another classic Indoor model has been brought back from the brink of obscurity thanks to Gary Aspden and the team at . The Indoor Star is the latest recipient of the Three Stripes' revered retro treatment — lovingly tweaked and reimagined as the Indoor Comp SPZL.

The Indoor Comp SPZL – like the Indoor Star before it– stands out from other models in the Indoor range thanks to distinctive adidas-branded windows at the heel. The SPEZIAL team have given the Indoor Star's materials and fabrication a much-needed revamp for the model's grand return, replacing the OG's stuff boot leather with a supple mix of premium leathers and suede.

The Indoor Comp SPZL makes its SPEZIAL debut in a classic adidas colourway used throughout the 80s, most notably on the legendary Lendl series. For a finishing touch, the models signature stripes have been reworked with serrated edges.

The Indoor Comp SPZL is part of Drop 1 of the adidas SPEZIAL ‘Acid Winter’ FW18 Collection and is slated for release on September 7 through selected top-tier adidas stockists.
