UPDATE: Time to start counting your steps, and the days for that matter, as the mighty Micropacer OG prepares to hit the streets once again, this August 16. If your looking to get amongst the 30th Anniversary action, look to find them over at Packer Shoes.
Sticking mi adidas chips in your sneaks to get data on your performance is pretty standard stuff these days, but 30 years ago in 1984 it was space age technology. So when adidas created the first running shoe with a mini computer in it they appropriately designed it to look like something astronauts would wear. It may be obsolete technology to many folks now, but there's plenty of heads who still love it as an artifact or just respect it as a dope design. We've seen bring-backs now and then, and we welcome this announcement, especially as adidas Originals are claiming it to be a pretty perfect replication of the OG. We'll have to wait until August 16 to see how it stacks up, that's when it drops at retailers.
