Adidas have been digging mad deep into their vaults of late to bring back some true running classics, now they take the search a step further and come up with the goods. Whilst moving house last year, a 90-year-old former technical director at adidas found a prototype for the City Marathon PT from almost a third of a century ago. Chuffed with the discovery, adidas Originals have put the silhouette back into production and are gearing up to drop a three-pack of the long lost shoe aptly entitled the 'City marathon Pack'. Gummy soles, meshes and suedes all hark back to yesteryear, with the midsole utilising adidas' patented Dellinger Web technology for shock distribution and enhanced revitalisation. The pack comprises Berlin, Chicago and New York editions all featuring the exact distance of an official marathon (42.195km) printed on the heels. Get set to cop the complete set from adidas Originals stockists from this Sunday, September the 1st.
