The b-ball boot of the future is here. Three Stripes VP and creative director, Marc Dolce, shared an image of the brand’s 4D-tech enhanced basketball shoe and, well, it’s Matrix-level futuristic, as you might have guessed.
Leather ball boots may as well be dinosaur fossils; adidas have catapulted us into a new world where on-court kicks boast full knitted uppers along with supports and sole units forged using a complex process of manipulating light and oxygen (otherwise known as 3D-printed Futurecraft tech).
No release date for these yet, but we expect it to coincide with news that we're all relocating to special space domes on the dark side of the moon.
