Since the very first Speedfactory AM4 landed in London last month, sneakerheads have been waiting for the latest innovation in adidas running tech to drop in their location. The AM4 is a city-specific release, meaning you'll only secure it if the Three Stripes happen to cross through your neighbourhood. And, thanks to an IG post by adidas VP Jon Wexler, we can confirm that Paris is next in line.
The dusty pink runner brings to mind a line from Édith Piaf's unofficial Parisian anthem, 'La Vie en Rose': 'I see life in rosy hues.' The City of Light's AM4 has an understated old school glamour to it, so perhaps the designers over at adidas had this gem on repeat while sketching up the design.
Like the London model, this AM4 has a grippy rugged outsole for romantic strolls (or sprints) down the Champs-Élysées. With a black tape heel counter and a generous slab of BOOST, the AM4 has that quintessential French je ne sais quoi nailed.
There's no release date on the Paris AM4 as of yet, but we'll be sure to keep you posted. And, if you live in Los Angeles, New York, Tokyo or Shanghai, keep your eyes peeled - your time to shine can't be too far off.
