Team Trefoil’s new Consortium Workshop project explores the revered history of adidas Originals, allowing contributors not associated with the brand to put their own distinctive touch on classic silhouettes. After two successful drops earlier this year, the project returns to reveal unique takes on the Falcon and the SS2G.
Familiar yet progressive, both models get style updates and an injection of modern tech. The re-worked Falcon gets a sock-style ankle collar and a Primeknit upper, while the lacing system sees a minimalist revamp. The modernised SS2G also adopts the same toggle lacing system, but back strips support its design with suede overlays, mesh upper and subtle bright yellow stitching near the toe cap.
The adidas Consortium Workshop Falcon and the SS2G release at select retailers on August 8. Be sure to check out Brad Hall's review below in the meantime.
