UPDATE: Out today! Check your local Consortium accounts for these amazing Superstars!
From the courts to the streets, the adidas Superstar has seen and done it all. Introduced in '69, and with 2015 serving as the forty-fifth anniversary for the icon of style, adidas Consortium returns to its roots, presenting the Superstar 'Made in France'. Your probably thinking that these just look like any ordinary Superstar, but trust us, these are no ordinary Superstars. During the '70s, the Superstar was first released under the 'La marque aux 3 bandes' tagline and manufactured in the Detwiller area of East France. Giving this release a true authentic touch, each pair will be handcrafted by Ateliers Heschung – a family run factory who manufactured shoes for adidas France in the 1970s –and will boast the upmost of premium quality leathers and hand-made construction. In keeping things completely OG, the heel tab will remain unbranded, with additional embellishments including complementary subtle ivory tone shell-toes to accompany the crisp white upper. Still think this is an ordinary Superstar? The Superstar 'Made in France' will release December 12 at select adidas Consortium retailers.
