Let’s just clear this up from the get go – adidas missed an opportunity for a quality portmanteau by not naming this shoe the Boostnizt. All criticisms of nomenclature aside, the adidas Busenitz Pure Boost is as good a shoe as they come. Celebrating the tenth anniversary of the football styled skate shoe, and ten years since Danny Busenitz signed with the Stripes, they’ve put together a special black and gold upper and pumped it up with a Boost sole. Perhaps not optimised for boardfeel in the same way as the standard sole, the new foundations will keep you in fine form when you’re hit your striding it out pedestrian style.
The adidas Busenitz Pure Boost ’10 Year Anniversary’ will be available from October 1 at select adidas stockists.
