adidas Add the 'Welding Pack' to their EQT Toolbox

The  has become a site of sculptural experimentation for the designers over at the . Continuing their commitment to revamping the original EQT, the start of 2017 saw the brand introduce the . It stood as a significantly remodelled version of the historic runner.

The Support 93/17 splices together the OG's vinyl branding and TPU support with a contemporary OrthoLite mesh sockliner and some thick textured . When it came out, the model was touted as the perfect pairing of tradition and 21st century tech.

With the sneaker's first birthday rapidly approaching, adidas have just dropped the 'Welding Pack' 93/17. The two-strong pack is intended to reflect the way in which the shoe welds old and new together. A black iteration features a white cage and orange accents, and is inspired by the fiery sparks that fly as welders join two materials together.

Blue sparks are blasting off this hot pack, too. The second model puts a turquoise sockliner and tongue tab against a white and grey upper. This is some serious high-oxygen heat we're dealing with.

No doubt the 93/17's anniversary will gear up come January, but the celebratory sparklers have already been lit. Catch the pack before the flame burns out.
