It was the news Jumpman fans across the world had been waiting for. In late September, it was revealed that Jordan Brand would finally be bringing back Nike Air branding on the Air Jordan 4 and Air Jordan 6 for the first time since the turn of the millennium. Now, you don't need us to tell you that every last pair of these original Swoosh-branded Jays has become completely unwearable after nearly two decades, so this is undeniably the greatest Jordan news of the year!
We've been eager to see what the 2019 retros look like and now, thanks to one crafty Instagram leaker, we have our first look at the Air Jordan 6 in the OG 'Black Infrared' colourway. It's hard to get a full grasp for the quality of next year's retro without it in hand, but these early images show what looks to be the best retro of this legendary sneaker to hit shelves since the year 2000!
We don't have a release date for these new 'Black Infrared' Air Jordan 6s, but you can pencil 'sometime in 2019' into your diaries. We'll keep you posted with any updates!
