Reddit tends to talk a lot of smack. The site once convinced us Finland was a hoax.
This week, one Redditor sent the platform into meltdown after claiming that he copped a pair of ultra-rare 2011 Nike Air Mags at a local Buffalo Exchange.
'Hey reddit, so I found these 2011 Air Mags at Buffalo Exchange, but I couldn’t post about them because I was working there at the time … they came with the box, metal authorisation tags, poster, and sadly no charge.'
The user bought the shoes for $350, and later sold them for over 5K.
You buying this? He ended his tale on a motivating note: 'Even if you're down on your luck and never think you'll be able to afford your dream shoes miracles happen.' OK then, so where are our game worn MJs?
The Nike Air Mags were of course originally built to replicate the sneaker from Back to the Future II, with all proceeds directed to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's disease research.
