Nike’s acquisition of Converse back in 2003 opened the door for a swag of co-branded Jordan Brand releases — a no-brainer considering MJ’s history wearing the Pro Leather and Fastbreak during his North Carolina days. And now it looks like the biggest-ever Converse x Jordan collaboration is just around the corner.
According to internet sneaker prophet Pinoe77, a Converse x Air Jordan 1 and an 11 are on the way. No release date or imagery have been revealed.
Considering the popularity of both the AJ1 and AJ11, the pack will appeal to die-hard Jordanheads and casual sneaker lovers alike. We can also expect a strong UNC theme, as has been the case with previous Converse x Jordan brand drops.
We’ll let you know when we find out more. In the meantime, check out these uber-rare Converse x Jordan Brand Pro Leathers created to celebrate MJ’s 1982 NCAA title.
