And they reveal the shoe's inspiration source a little more clearly; it was said that the sneaker was inspired by breads from France and Finland, though at first it wasn’t easy to see how the bread tied in to the design.
However, new imagery reveals the insoles to be covered croissant and pullapitko graphics, which also decorate the shoe box.
With the release coinciding with Finland’s 100th year of independence, Karhu sought materials of the utmost quality and tapped those who know hide best — Italian craftsmen —to build the sneakers (and the box they come in) using full-grain leather
