Zack Bia's Field Trip Recordings Hits the ASICS GEL-Kayano 14 Again

Images of a second Field Trip Records x have just surfaced, with the design taking a much more zesty approach to the . When DJ, record producer, and co-founder of Field Trip Records Zack Bia first took on the sporty silhouette, he kept it sleek and minimal, with silver, black, and white heroing the design. The same pared-back approach was taken onto a murdered-out , but Bia has definitely pulled more from the colour palette for this one.

The GEL-Kayano 14 boasts a neon green upper with a slightly darker shade coming in across the accenting and laces. Bright yellow hits the eyelets and branding for some extra zing, while a dark blue midsole and black heel cage anchor the design. The use of two primary colours (blue and yellow) on the outsides of the design, with their mix (green) in the middle works well to capture the eye with contrasting yet completely complementary colours. As for the construction, a thicker diamond-shaped mesh has been used on the base of the upper than what is typically used, adding to the bold look.

There’s no confirmation of the release from ASICS or Field Trip yet; however, they appeared briefly for raffle on Feature’s website, with the pair set to drop on June 22. They have since been taken down, so stay locked to SF for news of further releases.
