Founded in 1991 by Eli Bonerz and Adam Silverman and based on an idea from Mike D of the Beastie Boys, XLARGE are a true OG streetwear brand. After celebrating their 30th anniversary in 2021, they're looking to keep the good vibes rolling in their fourth decade of existence by linking up with adidas for a duo of Campus 80s colabs.

Arriving in 'Orbit Violet/Core Black/Chalk White' and 'Mesa/Solar Red/ Gum', each offers a richly-coloured suede upper, accented by contrasting shades on the midfoot's Three Stripe logo and the heel tab. There's also a special XLARGE badge on the tongue and a funky black/white cheetah print on the collar lining and insoles, plus a trio of lace options if you're looking to get even wilder!

The Campus is a fitting choice for an XLARGE anniversary colab, as the Beastie Boys, especially Mike D, have a long history with the silhouette. They were often spotted in it during the 1980s and early 1990s – Mike D continued to wear it even after his bandmates switched to rocking other models like the Rivalry (then called the Ewing) and the Forum – and the original XLARGE store in Los Angeles even sold vintage pairs that were made in Germany and France, sourced from befuddled sporting goods store owners.

If you're looking to get your hands on these pieces of brand history, they're both set to release on February 4, each priced at $100.
