Winners of ‘The 50’ Off-White x Nike Dunk Lows Won’t Be Able to Choose Colourway
Virgil Abloh and his Off-White label are ready to release the 50-colourway smorgasbord of Nike Dunk Lows as part of their ‘Dear Summer’ collection. Set to drop via Nike’s SNKRS app, the first colourways from the collection arrive on August 9, but it looks like getting the pair you want will be even more difficult than first thought. According to Nike SNKRS Live, those who manage to score Exclusive Access to ‘The 50’ will be sent colourways at random.
ICYMI, 48 of the 50 colourways will be quite similar, with white and grey uppers complemented with Off-White design motifs such as overhanging lacing, exposed foam tongues, Helvetica text, plastic zip-ties, and fabric decorations. Set to release in separate batches of 10 colourways, each assortment will feature a slightly different material composition. See all the details below:
1–10: Leather / Canvas Mix
11–20: Hairy Suede / Leather
21–30: Leather / Canvas Mix
31–40: Hairy Suede / Leather
41–50: Leather / Canvas Mix
Colourways ‘1 of 50’ and ‘50 of 50’ will likely be more limited, and both feature a different look. The former makes use of an all-white upper with a silver Swoosh and ‘aged’ yellowed midsole, possibly nodding to the Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 ‘AF100’ from 2017. Meanwhile, ‘50 of 50’ is composed of black/silver with purple accents, potentially based off the Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 ‘MoMA’ from 2018.
As reported by Nike News, the Off-White x Nike Dunk Lows release rollout will begin on August 9, with more access being sent out over multiple days. The release will be limited to the Nike SNKRS Exclusive Access platform.
