Willy Chavarria’s adidas Megaride AG Hits Paris

has once again teamed up with unveiling the bold Megaride AG during his Spring/Summer 2026 show at Paris Fashion Week. Known for blending oversized silhouettes with social commentary, Chavarria brings a fresh, future-forward energy to the Three Stripes lineup while tapping into early-2000s nostalgia.
The Megaride AG is a striking statement piece, defined by its chunky proportions and retro-futuristic design. The upper features a sculpted TPU shell layered over a breathable mesh base, creating dynamic depth and texture. Sculptural midsole tooling and aggressive outsole patterns deliver both style and function, pairing visual impact with performance-ready stability. Offered in vibrant pink and baby blue alongside a more muted black/silver edition, the sneaker reflects Chavarria’s knack for balancing streetwear attitude with elevated design sensibilities.
The adidas Megaride originally surfaced in the early 2000s as a performance runner designed for maximum cushioning and stability. It earned esteem for its chunky, sculptural midsole and innovative forefoot-flex grooves, which delivered a smooth ride for long-distance runners. Though it quietly disappeared from shelves as running tech evolved, its distinctive DNA made it ripe for a fashion revival – and Chavarria’s reinterpretation brings that archival energy into a contemporary, street-savvy form.
The Megaride AG will form the cornerstone of Chavarria’s SS26 adidas capsule, which also includes reimagined Jabbar Lo styles and oversized sportswear staples. Expect the collection to hit shelves via adidas CONFIRMED and select retailers worldwide over the coming months.
