Wales Bonner and adidas Join Forces for SS21
The ideal collaboration involves two brands coming together to bring out the best in each other, creating products that combine elements of both identities, with a deeper meaning thrown in if possible. Thankfully, that’s exactly what’s been happening with Wales Bonner and . The duo first joined forces for Fall/Winter 2020, and are now back in action for the Spring/Summer 2021 offerings. Linking on a capsule containing two sneakers and a slew of apparel, the range focuses on the connection between the United Kingdom and the Caribbean during the 1980s.
The sneakers are the and the , both absolute classics within the adidas arsenal. Wales Bonner have added slight touches to each, with no dramatic changes to the silhouette, and they’ve curated them in a selection of colours that sit perfectly next to the garments. Making their mark while keeping it minimal, Wales Bonner have also scripted their brand name right beside the Three Stripes on each shoe. Alongside the shoes will be reworked tracksuits, shorts and t-shirts.
The entire collection of the adidas x Wales Bonner Spring/Summer 2021 colab, including apparel and multiple colourways of both the Samba and Nizza, will arrive on March 26 at select retailers – including the adidas webstore.
