Wacko Maria Hook Up with Vans for Duo of Authentics
Founded by former J-League soccer players Keiji Ishizuka and Atsuhiko Mori, Tokyo’s are not only adept at creating high quality garments. The imprint continue to collaborate with California skate label for creative remixes of classic silhouettes, the latest duo of Vans utilising Wacko’s signature leopard print – a motif that is ubiquitous across the label’s clothing.
Recently linking up with Vans in April to celebrate the rare world of vinyl records with a trio of OG Classic LX sneakers, the duo of leopard and snow leopard Authentics are slated to land later this month.
A staple of Vans prodigious catalogue, the Authentic originally released in 1966, and still features a classic low top design with durable canvas uppers and metal eyelets. The iconic Vans flag label and OG vulcanised waffle outsole of course also make an appearance for Wacko Maria’s latest collaboration.
