UPDATE: With the emergence of official product imagery, we can't shake the feeling that the Vetements x Reebok InstaPump Fury is some kind of practical joke – but then fashion hasn't always been straight forward. Still, a retail price of $760 USD does seem a little exorbitant for a shoe that may well have been designed around a mirrored table in the early hours of the morning at a fashion show kick on. The shoe is set to release as part of Vetements' upcoming Spring/Summer range – expect to see them some time soon at stockists such as Matches  Fashion

It’s official, and have teamed up to collaborate on an . If you ever broke your arm as a child, then chances are you’re familiar with the texta scribble aesthetic. Although this is the first time we’ve seen this take on a sneaker though.

Vetements designer Demna Gvasalia is one of the most hyped designer in fashion right now, despite his self-professed hatred for the term. It seems appropriate then that the colab takes on a bit of an anti-cool vibe. Despite the high-profile Vetements has fostered for Gvasalia, the brand is actually a design collective which remains largely anonymous. It’s not a stretch of the imagination to think that the various scrawls across the upper of the white Insta Pump are a collaborative effort within the collective itself. The sneaker so uncool it’s cool – Vetements have once more succeeded in pointing out the ludicrously paradoxical nature of fashion with a truly paradoxical colab.

No official release info for the Vetements x Reebok Insta Pump Fury just yet, but it looks like the shoes will release in line with one of the brands early 2017 ranges. We’ll keep you posted.
