Veneda Carter Cranks the Dial With the Nike Air Max Muse ‘Racer Blue’

Stylist and designer Veneda Carter is back in the studio with the After lighting up the scene with her debut earlier this year, the Copenhagen-based stylist is back with a fresh heater – this time dressed in a turbocharged ‘Racer Blue’.
Spotted in a glossy Vogue Scandinavia spread, the build pairs crisp white leather with hits of electric blue mesh, giving the silhouette a slick, aquatic punch. Metallic silver Swooshes slice down the sides like chrome fangs, while a subtle yellow Air unit glows in the heel – just enough sauce to remind you this is still Nike’s bread-and-butter cushioning tech.
For those snoozing on the Air Max Muse, the build dropped in late 2024 as Nike’s latest lifestyle experiment, and feels instantly familiar even though it’s all-new. Cooked up with computational design filters, the silhouette bends softly exaggerated curves around a semi-gloss Air unit in the heel, while the layered synthetic leather and mesh upper gives off shades of classic Air Max runners without lifting directly from the archives. The end result is a shape that’s futuristic at heart but still ticks that nostalgic box – the kind of versatile platform Nike loves to hand over to collaborators like Veneda Carter.
Set to land in Fall 2025 with the usual $170 sticker, the collaboration is primed to keep Carter’s name front and centre for the Swoosh. The Air Max Muse might be the new kid on the block, but it looks like its building some strong momentum.
