Vans X Diemme 2014 Collection
Our Assistant Editor was a huge fan of the first Diemme x Vans Montebelluna Hi that came out last year, but some critics scoffed at the idea of skate shoes that carried a $300+ price-tag, not grasping the craftsmanship and quality of materials that was showcased for the collection, something that Diemme have excelled with their own offerings since 1992. The Italian shoemakers have also been commissioned by brands such as Chanel, Maison Martin Margiela and Gucci to manufacture shoes for them, so the haters need to check the resumé before casting any stones at this latest Vans collection by Diemme. As if the last collection wasn't high quality enough, this newest series enlists famous American tannery Horween Leather to provide the materials for the uppers for two Montebelluna Eras and two Montebelluna His; Vans have spared no expense for this colab!
Releasing this Saturday, November 15, check out the Vans Vault site for full stockist details.
