You Don’t Have To Worry About Terrain With the Vans MTE Crosspath
have always gone beyond their home of Southern California in the search of treacherous terrains for their products. Standing for Made For the Elements, the SoCal brand’s rugged sub-line looks to build footwear that can tackle every condition, no matter how harsh. The latest to join the ever-expanding catalogue is the fresh-out-of-SoCal MTE Crosspath. Arriving in both Low and Mid variations, the new model fuses souped-up tech with supreme style and subtle sustainable elements.
The design of both the Mid and Low MTE Crosspaths come with inspirational cues from the Vans' storied skateboarding catalogue. Stacks of colourways have been chosen, with the Low rocking mostly tonal looks while the Mid opts for brighter hues and blacked-out midsoles. Along both the lateral and medial sides sits the famed Jazz Stripe, along with the usual Vans tag branding.
Vans went Off the Wall with tech specs for the Crosspath while still remaining faithful to Mother Earth. The upper is made from PET that’s entirely recycled with reinforced abrasion panelling, and the construction has been put together with the stitch-less RAPIDWELD tech and water-repellent coating. Similarly, the midsole has been crafted with 50 per cent bio-based EVA foam that has been partially taken from plants, and a portion of the outsole’s rubber is naturally sourced from farms that promote biodiversity, enhance water cycles and improve soil health.
Dropping alongside these trail-ready sneaks is a stack of apparel including jackets, tees and a bag. The highlight though is the MTE Crosspath Low and Mid, which are out now through the usual Vans channels. Tap that link below to cop yours now.
