Stateside sneakerheads can breathe a sigh of relief! Dates for the US release of the Gundam x Nike SB Dunk High have now been locked in following those major delays. Originally, the highly-anticipated creps were set to land in skate stores on October 9 with a SNKRS release following on October 12. Now word has just come through that a November drop has been confirmed.

Gundam was originally created in the 1970s as a military fiction by Yoshiyuki Tomino. It’s become a larger-than-life presence, having been turned into movies, a TV series and countless graphic novels. Their figurines are also ultra-collectible, so it makes sense that their next venture was a link up with Nike SB.

Both the ‘Banshee’ and ‘Unicorn’ Gundam x Nike SB Dunk Highs arrived in select regions around Asia and Europe, with fans clamouring to their local retailer looking to cop. Many took theirs straight to the feet posting on-foots to IG and styling their pairs with great panache. We’re sure after the Stateside release, our How People are Styling article will blow up with more fly flexers.

SNKRS in the US has the ‘Unicorn’ colourway loaded for November 11, and the skate store drop which will consist of both colourways is occurring on November 12. Stay locked to SF, we’ll update you if anything changes and create a US-only Where to Buy guide.
