UNKNWN and Nike Hit the Beach on the Lebron 20
has his hands in a lot of different businesses and investments, and the sneaker retail space is no different. With locations in Miami and Akron, it’s only fitting that UNKNWN got a collaboration on the , which is set to drop later this month.
The sneaker is inspired by UNKNWN’s neighbourhood basketball court and event space, which is used to bring together the local Miami community. A tan suede upper symbolises the soft beach sand of Miami Beach, with slate blue leather used on the liner and eyelets. The double Swooshes are seen in metallic gold with Aqua Blue on top, symbolising the clear ocean water. UNKNWN and LeBron’s logos are seen on each respective tongue. The Cushlon midsole is seen in brown with tan paint splatter with large Zoom Air units placed in the heel and forefoot. Lastly, a glow-in-the-dark outsole finishes off the sneaker.
