UNDERCOVER Debut Collaboration With OTW by Vans

Jun Takahashi-led and are no strangers and have continued to be collaborative partners on an almost-annual basis. Now, as part of the SoCal brand’s initiative, they’ve enlisted the Japanese fashion stalwarts for a fresh two-pack centred around UNDERCOVER’s ‘Anarchy Is Key’ expression.

OTW by Vans is the new lifestyle arm of the South Cali legends and was back in February with a collaboration with Sterling Ruby’s S.R. STUDIO LA. CA. They’ve since linked with and launched their very own in-house collection that includes fresh souped-up versions of the .

For their latest venture with UNDERCOVER, Vans and Takahashi look to the Era and Sk8-Mid, two icons of the brand’s storied legacy. The Era hosts the tried-and-true checkerboard, bolstered with the Dracula hand motif scattered throughout the upper. For the Sk8-Mid, an equally eye-catching design has been employed, as it dressed in two-tone black and white with ‘Anarchy Is Key’ logos throughout. Each of the two silhouettes in this collection have been blessed with two colourways each.

The UNDERCOVER x OTW by Vans collection, which includes the Era and Sk8-Mid, will land through UNDERCOVER on July 13 and then have a wider release through the SoCal brand’s channels on July 16; however, the ‘Black/Red’ Era and ‘Black/Blue’ Sk8-Mid are exclusive to UNDERCOVER.
